Canberra PCYC Canberra PCYC provides leading and innovative services for young people and their families across the ACT.
Canberra Pet Rescue We rescue abandoned, abused and neglected pets in our community and find loving homes for them once they are rehabilitated. We also run our PerAssist program which provides emergency pet food and supplies to community members experiencing crisis.
Capital Region Community Services Capital Region Community Services (CRCS) is a regional community service established in 1975 by the people of Belconnen. Formerly known as Belconnen Community Service (BCS), CRCS has been providing a wide range of high quality, integrated and inclusive programs and services to local communities for over 45 years. We provide dedicated services for young people, children, families, older people, people living with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people from non-English speaking backgrounds.
Cerebral Palsy Alliance We transform lives by enabling access to; early diagnosis and intervention for cerebral palsy, life changing technology, supports and opportunities not funded by NDIS, cutting edge treatments, and research into prevention and cure for cerebral palsy. Fundraising ensures we can build a better today (by supporting immediate daily needs) and a brighter tomorrow (by funding research, technology and advocacy to change the future) for people living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
Dementia Australia Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia yet remains one of the most challenging and misunderstood conditions. Founded by carers more than 35 years ago, today we are the national peak body for people impacted by dementia in Australia. We involve people impacted by dementia and their experiences in our activities and decision-making, to make sure we are representative of the diverse range of dementia experiences across Australia. We amplify the voices of people impacted by dementia through advocating and sharing stories to help inform and inspire others. Dementia Australia is the source of trusted information, education and support services. We advocate for positive change for people living with dementia, their families and carers, and support vital research. We are here to support people impacted by dementia, and to enable them to live as well as possible.
Doris Women’s Refuge Incorportated Our extensive range of activities is delivered to homeless or at risk of homelessness women and children in crisis due to experiences of violence in the home and family environments. We provide crisis and intensive support and accommodation, holistically assisting them to address needs identified in their case plan, including in the areas of advocacy and support for access to legal, health, participation in education, training and employment, income support, child protection and child development, parenting skills, counselling and mental health, drug and alcohol dependency, immigration, gambling addiction, long term housing and living skills. We dedicate our work with the aim to contribute to influencing change in community behaviour and attitudes that perpetuate violence against women and children. We deliver inclusive services to very vulnerable women and children, including those from Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities. We are confident that we responsibly fulfill our governance and contractual requirements and that we assist women and children to meet positive outcomes and achieve safety and family stability.
Epilepsy ACT Epilepsy ACT aims to make the lives of those with epilepsy and their loved ones more safe and secure. We offer training both in schools and in workplaces. We offer online resources, referrals and support groups to those who need it.
Hands Across Canberra Hands Across Canberra helps to keep the wealth that is created locally within the local Canberra community. We exist to support, build capacity and empower local charities and community organisations.
Hartley Lifecare Established in 1962, Hartley Lifecare (Hartley) is a Canberra-based not-for-profit organisation providing supported accommodation for people with disability, their families and carers. Originally established to provide a learning facility and therapy support service for children and adults, Hartley has grown extensively to support clients in over 30 homes across the ACT. Over the last six decades, families have grown to rely on and trust Hartley to deliver high quality, person centred support. As we move toward 2023, Hartley will continue to maintain and build upon these strong foundations, ensuring that our clients and their families have opportunities to live their best life. Hartley Lifecare relies on NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) funding, corporate partners and individual donors as well as special events to raise the funds needed to enable us to expand and enhance the services we provide to people living with disability in our local community.
Karinya House for Mothers and Babies Every woman who is pregnant or parenting should be surrounded with the support she needs. However, not every woman has safety, shelter, or a positive support network. Karinya House walks with women in Canberra and the surrounding Region providing safety, shelter and a positive support network. A local, not for profit organisation, the Karinya House funding framework is a true cooperative of individuals, families, community groups, corporates, philanthropic and government funding partners. This cooperative approach to funding is a tangible expression of positive recognition of women in our community, who are pregnant or parenting. Your support and partnership with us is welcome.
Kulture Break Kulture Break is a social inclusion organisation. Our aim to to endow children and youth with a sense of belonging and self value. We do this through In school dance programs, after school dance lessons, free mentoring crews for boys and girls, online dance opportunities and more. One of our mottos is "You don't become somebody, you ARE somebody!"
Menslink Menslink provide counselling to young guys between the ages of 10-25 and Mentoring to young guys between the ages of 10-16. We also provide Education programs to local Primary and High schools. All our services are at no charge to the client.
Mental Illness Education ACT (MIEACT) MIEACT creates a safe space for mental health education for all Canberra. We embrace lived experience to provide mental health education awareness programs in schools and the community to address stigma, increase knowledge and promote help seeking.
Meridian Incorporated Meridian is a community-controlled, peer-led organisation. We provide quality, accessible, and culturally safe mental health support and wellbeing services for our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer (LGBTIQ+) communities.

Newborn Intensive Care Foundation We direct 100% of donations to purchase medical equipment, fund research and nurse education to ensure sick and premature newborn babies go home sooner and healthier.
Oncology Massage Limited OML encourages an integrative approach that involves all members of a person’s care and support team. With a nationally standardised training program, our training is the only one of its kind in the world. We also provide ongoing support to our Graduates, including opportunities for personal and professional development. OML’s founding objective was to make Oncology Massage available to any person with a history or diagnosis of cancer, regardless of where they live. In the near future, our objective is to help make Safe & Effective Massage available to any person in fragile health regardless of where they live – with or without cancer, with or without a chronic condition, with or without a degenerative illness.

The Early Morning Centre – UnitingCare Canberra City The Early Morning Centre provides a safe space for some of our city’s most vulnerable people. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we provide meals, facilities, support and facilitate healthcare, accommodation support and community services.
The Shepherd Centre The Shepherd Centre provides life-changing support and education for deaf children and their families. We teach children to speak and communicate so that they can overcome the disadvantages of their disability, and reach their full potential!
The Violet Initiative The Violet Initiative exists to reduce regretful outcomes in the last stage of life for Australians, their caregivers and their families. Violet is a national social enterprise, making a positive contribution to the last stage of life.
