On 20th of October 2022 at the HAC Charity Lunch, Hands Across Canberra announced the winners of the inaugural Canberra Philanthropy Award. The winners: Joanne Farrell of Kane Constructions and John Hindmarsh AO of Hindmarsh Group were felicitated at the Annual Hands Across Canberra Charity Lunch at the National Gallery by CM Andrew Barr and HAC Chair Diane Bray. The Award will be presented annually to community members who display the Hands Across Canberra values of ‘Giving where they live’. The lunch was attended by over 300 guests, corporates and charities.
