Canberra City Care Canberra City Care (CCC) provides support for approximately 300 households across Canberra and some 60 volunteers make this possible.
Sisters In Spirit Aboriginal Corporation We are the only Aboriginal women's organisation in the ACT. We exist to improve and support the physical, cultural, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of Aboriginal people. We aim to empower Aboriginal women in determining their own futures.
St John’s Care St John’s Care aims to bridge the gap and break the cycle of disadvantage, isolation and economic hardship with compassion, advocacy, respect and encouragement through the provision of emergency relief and other programs.
The Early Morning Centre – UnitingCare Canberra City The Early Morning Centre provides a safe space for some of our city’s most vulnerable people. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we provide meals, facilities, support and facilitate healthcare, accommodation support and community services.
The Little Pantry at Woden Community Service (WCS) The Little Pantry runs by donations. It is a WCS initiative supported by the combined Lyons Churches where people in need can get an emergency pack of non-perishable foods and personal items. Donations can be made by tax-deductible monetary donations or by arranging a delivery from a supermarket.
UnitingCare Kippax UnitingCare Kippax (UCK) is a local community based non-profit organisation situated in the West Belconnen area. We run a variety of programs including emergency material and financial relief, casemanagement, parenting support groups, community and supported children's playgroups.
