CRMD assists people living with muscular dystrophy or similar neuromuscular conditions, their family's and carers.

Capital Region MD is a not for profit, voluntary organisation working to make everyday life easier for anyone with one of the many forms of muscular dystrophy, or similar neuromuscular conditions, their families and carers.

There are very limited services available in Canberra to support neuromuscular conditions.  Our aim is to correct this.

Our work includes advocacy and support, the provision of medical equipment, assistance to attend interstate treatment, exercise and lifestyle programs, and sporting programs for kids living with very challenging disabilities giving them the opportunity to play weekend sport like any other, such as our power soccer league.
