Provides accredited perinatal mental health services to new and expecting parents, including telephone counselling, workshops and in-person support groups, with free adjunct childcare available.

Perinatal Wellbeing Centre offers support, information and referral to hundreds of local families experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, which can include perinatal depression and anxiety. Our services are client-focused, and prioritise working collaboratively with families to help them get the best start in life.

Among our services are: telephone support, comprising regular outbound calls to clients to check in, listen, offer coping strategies and make referrals; support groups, allowing parents to validate their experiences, provide strategies for moving forward and social connection; playgroups, providing a safe space to connect with other mums with similar parenthood experiences, as well as a supportive setting to learn to play and engage with children; Partner Information Evenings, allowing fathers and partners to learn more about what is going on for their partners, as well as helpful strategies for their parenthood journey; and outreach to health professionals, Child and Family centres, early childhood education and care centres, and other community organisations and groups.

We also provide free childcare facilitated by qualified educators leading a team of staff and volunteers during our support groups, allowing parents to fully engage in the program.
