ADACAS is an independent human rights organisation. We believe that all people have an equal right to enjoy their human rights.

We provide free advocacy and information to people who live with disability, experience mental ill-health, older people and their carers.

We offer NDIS funded Support Coordination for NDIS participants to help participants to make the most of their NDIS funds.

We provide support to help applicants access the National Redress Scheme and to individuals who are making a submission to the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.

Through our Systemic Advocacy we seek to influence Territory and National policies and service delivery to improve the lives of the people we work with.

Our projects team develops tools to help people help themselves such as the Supported Decision Making toolkit and provides inclusion training for people working with people with disability within a human rights framework. We also offer Plain English translations.
