Scouts ACT is a volunteer-driven recreation organisation that provides fun, age-appropriate, affordable outdoor education programs for young people.

Scouting in the ACT is in demand and growing strongly after COVID, BUT some families experience barriers to participation due to cost.

We want to raise $10,000 for the Scout Fund.  The Scout Fund provides money to cover costs of Scouting for youth members who really need a hand.  It helps with the cost of fees, uniforms and activities like going on camps.

Currently we help about 35 young members every year through the Scout Fund, giving on average $300 per applicant.  This enables them to participate every week in their local Scout Group’s activities, and to experience the once-in-a-lifetime signature activities like Cuboree or Jamboree.

The need is great, and if we had more, we could do more.
